Books, museums and culture

On this trip we've experienced incredibly much and at times it's been nice to also calm down a bit and just take it easy. :) One of the best ways to do this has been by reading books and we wanted to show you our bookish side (with a slight 70's wibe).

Our cultural side has also got some new insights and it's been interesting to learn about the local cultures in Bali, Singapore and Malaysia. In Bali the community culture is extremely rich and in Singapore we learned a lot about the local history through the National Museum. In Kuala Lumpur we visited the Islamic Arts Museum.

Sightseeing in the city took us also to the old railway station and national mosque, first the view from the mosque...

... and the mosque itself. Unfortunately we couldn't enter because of our outfits and the fact that we aren't muslims.

However, we did meet some local school girls who got excited to take photos with us :D (yep, we are not blending here so well...)

Finishing the culture tour at the Merdeka square. Next heading to George Town, with an UNESCO world heritage site.
